Unkept: Made Vile in the House of G_dBy the Watchman Dana G Smith [tsaphah/tsaw?faw/]" Background and Introduction: Vile:, hebrew word, strongs 7043m qalal, kaw-lal`; a primitive root, meaning to be light, make light, bring into contempt; figurative for vileness.
1 Samuel 3:13 For I have told him that I will judge his house for ever for the iniquity which he knoweth; because his sons made themselves vile, and he restrained them not.
Making ‘light of God’s covenant, his ways, his commandments, his holiness, anything that is God, called God, or is God. To make light, consider it un important, and bring into contempt in such a way as to become vile or a ‘curse’ before God for blatant disobedience.
An example is found in 1 Samuel chapter 3, verse 13 concerning Eli and his sons, namely; Hophni and Phinehas. Scripture says of these sons they were the sons of Belial, they knew not the LORD.
Belial, strongs, Hebrew 1100, wickedness, wicked, destruction, those who are perpetrators of wickedness. This word comes from a root word, 1907, meaning ‘without, no, not’. These ‘belial’ are without knowledge of the LORD [YHWH, the covenant, personal name of God, denotes personal relationship to him as the righteous of God].
1 Samuel 2:12 Now the sons of Eli were sons of Belial; they knew not the LORD.
The grievousness of their error is that they had caused all of Israel to hate the offering of the LORD and the temple because of Eli’s Sons. These two rejected the word of the LORD concerning offerings and the priests portion. Instead of receiving a boiled piece of meat, these two took raw meat to cook over the flame themselves with the fat. This was anathema in the offerings and priesthood, making a mockery of the LORDS offerings, they became a curse for doing as they please in the House of the LORD. Even laying with women who came to the temple, their sins reached the peak of being ‘vile’ in the House of the LORD!
1 Samuel 2:13 And the priests' custom with the people was, that, when any man offered sacrifice, the priest's servant came, while the flesh was in seething, with a fleshhook of three teeth in his hand; 14 And he struck it into the pan, or kettle, or caldron, or pot; all that the fleshhook brought up the priest took for himself. So they did in Shiloh unto all the Israelites that came thither. 15 Also before they burnt the fat, the priest's servant came, and said to the man that sacrificed, Give flesh to roast for the priest; for he will not have sodden flesh of thee, but raw. 16 And if any man said unto him, Let them not fail to burn the fat presently, and then take as much as thy soul desireth; then he would answer him, Nay; but thou shalt give it me now: and if not, I will take it by force. 1 Samuel 2:17 Wherefore the sin of the young men was very great before the LORD: for men abhorred the offering of the LORD.
1 Samuel 2:22 Now Eli was very old, and heard all that his sons did unto all Israel; and how they lay with the women that assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
This is important because God had chosen Eli’s fathers house out of all the tribes of Israel to be his Priest. Yet Eli now had allowed his sons, who did not know the LORD to be Priests. Mere flesh cannot inherit, nor can heritage take the Supernatural charge of the LORD. They must be chosen, appointed, and anointed by the LORD himself. Yet as Eli knew what his sons did to the women, the sacrifices, and the fact these two false priests made the men of Israel abhor the offering of the LORD, Eli did nothing to stop it! For this, him, his sons, and his whole house was judged!
1 Samuel 2:27 ¶And there came a man of God unto Eli, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Did I plainly appear unto the house of thy father, when they were in Egypt in Pharaoh's house? 28 And did I choose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priest, to offer upon mine altar, to burn incense, to wear an ephod before me? and did I give unto the house of thy father all the offerings made by fire of the children of Israel?

The Warning of Impending Judgment: Made Vile in the House of the L_RD
The mockers will mock, yea they will laugh and look down, Yet, they will have their faces downward, for it shall come to pass, The sons of belial shall face themselves and seek their own ways, For they will not hear, yet this word must go forth,
This word is for you, belial, for you who is a curse, You who have become vile in the house of the L_RD, Although you cannot hear, yet it will be given, Although your heart is set on your own ways, This word given shall come to pass!
Vileness in the House of G_d, The L_rd will destroy those who have done vile things in His Name! You bring disrepute to the ‘name of the L_RD’, which is HOLY! You have not sought me nor kept my house, nor my sheep, Yet you set your house in ‘my name’.
There will be no escape, I will judge those who call themselves by my name, those who do service in my house and minister wickedness in the house of G_d. Their name is vile, their ways are a curse before me and they bring dishonor to ‘my name’. For judgment shall find you, your deeds will find you out, for I reward according to thy works. In repentance you will be as a ‘curse’ and shall find my wrath, for thy vile ways that have been before me, in that you have defamed ‘my HOLY Name’, ‘defiled my House that is called by ‘my Name’, and have caused those who seek me to find error.
You shall be destroyed, Your enemies shall take over that which is called by ‘my name’, that which you have defiled. In purging and judgment, I shall send fire; In fire I shall purify the putrid and vile things, removing them from my sight. They shall become as ashes in the wind before me.
If you would have loved me more than your vile and rebellious ways, then repented, seeking my face with all your heart, then I would have healed you! But, alas, thy heart is given to pleasures, thy mind to vain things, thy soul is corrupted before me. Thy flesh is vile, behold I will cause my anger to dislodge you from your idols and bring my wrath to bear upon you for your rebellion.
Those with a pure heart, who in repentance have sought me, keeping themselves pure before me, these I will keep! They shall be as mine beloved before my face, I shall seek them out!
But to you who love wickedness and hate righteousness, to you who continue to be defiled before me in my house, bringing my name from your lips of defilement in the same breath as you serve belial, yea, I have removed my blessing and a curse shall find you.
I will blow upon you and dislodge you. I have removed the last vestige of my glory as Shiloh, my house before you now lay as Ichabod, that which the ‘glory has departed’. Thy glory has departed, thy enemies shall pursue you and overtake you!
The judgment is real, thy vile ways and backsliding will bring your reward, and when you call, I will not answer, when you seek me, I will not be found, when calamity finds you I will not rescue, for when I called you did not answer, behold your house is left unto you desolate!
All this for the defilement of ‘my name’ in the House of G_d where you have sought to seek thy own pleasure in defiling the Holy and following that which is Profane!
Let the standard be raised, let the banner be put up. Thy name shall be Ichabod, Thy glory has departed, because you have forsaken thy G_d and His ways, behold thy house is left to you desolate, thy fruit shall perish, thy flesh shall see destruction before my face!
