By Dana G Smith

The Apostle John was the “voice in the wilderness, crying, make straight the paths of the LORD”, this spoke John to urge those around him to repent and walk in the True ways of the LORD God. As his message grew louder and more followed him, he made enemies. So too, as his ministry was doing well, he was sent not to be the light, but to prepare the way for the Messiah.
It is also true that this same Messiah came, was crucified, and was laid to rest in a tomb. Three days later, he rose from the dead, was seen alive by many witnesses, and ascended to the right hand of God, where he ever lives to make intercession for the saints. All according to the will of God. This Messiah, is known by our english name as Jesus Christ. In the Hebrew, his name is Yeshua HaMassiach. This name is above all names. There is no other name in history which brings upon it curses and distain, as well as blessings.
For many today, this is not at all a thing they might pay attention too. They are busy paying bills, and trying to keep their life on a path they can live pleasantly. However, for many, like John, they are also voices in this wilderness called Earth. It is mammon, flesh, pride of life, lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh, and is not at all pleasant to the LORD God. For those who cry out and announce to this world, “make the paths of the LORD Straight”, or a modern way would be to say this. “Repent, turn from your ways, and live in a way pleasant to the LORD, not in godlessness, but in true holiness, for of such is the Way of the LORD.”
Howbeit, as I write this today, it is as one in the Wilderness. Many come to our websites and many read, listen, and even watch video’s. We try to bring people to the point to think that the coming of the LORD draws near. In doing this, we are saying to them, “be prepared, watch for his return, for when he comes, his eye’s will burn as fire, and the word of God will go forth from his mouth as a two edge sword. Therefore, be zealous and repent, watch, and be ready, for in such an hour as you think not, our LORD comes. This message is one I speak alot about from our radio broadcasts. I urge people to fast, pray, and seek the LORD. Why? Because I want them to be ready. I want them to be prepared. I do not want any to be lost.
So today, I again urge you, as the Apostle John did so many years ago, and as many others do today. “Prepare the way of the LORD, for he comes”. The voice in the wilderness says to you, “Your God Cometh”. This is the time to rejoice, repent, broadcast, and announce. For he comes. Yes, much chaos, trouble, and anguish will be here before he comes, these are birth pangs, but he comes and when he does, all who are obedient, walking in love, and a faithful witness, will receive a reward.
Revelation 19:11 ¶And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
