God’s Dealings with a Nation, as the “Lord passes through the Land”

Before the trouble, know who you are. Gentiles, Righteousness by faith, into the Family, Know who you are!

Gen 12:3; 15:6 [Gal 3:6]; Gen 17:4
Genesis 12:3  And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Genesis 15:5  And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.
6  And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

Genesis 17:4  ¶As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.

Galatians 3:6  ¶Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
7  Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

“inquity is full” Gen 15:16 [Matt 23: 31-32]

Genesis 15:16  But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.

Matthew 23:31  Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
32  Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.
33  Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
34  ¶Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
35  That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
36  Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.

“iniquity full in endtime”

Revelation 17:5  And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
6  And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

Is 40:27-31; 41:4, 5-17

Psalms 37:16  A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.
17  For the arms[wealth] of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous.
18  The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.
19  They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
20  But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.

Amos 7:15  And the LORD took me as I followed the flock, and the LORD said unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel.
16  Now therefore hear thou the word of the LORD: Thou sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and drop not thy word against the house of Isaac.

A. The Watchman/Prophet/ voice of the LORD God upon the earth against the Land, the rulers, and the priests of God who are sinning.

It is the voice which speaks out against the land, calling the people to repentance. It is the Lords grace calling out to a people to repent. It is a warning to all foolish and wise alike that the Lord is going to go through the Land.
-once for judgment
-twice for destruction
-three times for swift removal

B. It is this message which lays heavy upon the land, the people, rulers, and priests, that warns of the “Day of the LORD”

Amos 7:10  ¶Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, Amos hath conspired against thee in the midst of the house of Israel: the land is not able to bear all his words.
11  For thus Amos saith, Jeroboam shall die by the sword, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of their own land.
12  Also Amaziah said unto Amos, O thou seer, go, flee thee away into the land of Judah, and there eat bread, and prophesy there:
13  But prophesy not again any more at Bethel: for it is the king’s chapel, and it is the king’s court.
