Isaiah 2:21  To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.

Isaiah 13:13  Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.

Joel 3:16  The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.

Haggai 2:7  And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.

Luke 6:48  He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

Hebrews 12:26  Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

Revelation 18

The warning: It will be all gone!
Revelation 18:14
And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.

The City:, only one rules over the kings of the earth at this time, from the U.N. at New York city. But Babylon was a city state, a powerful city state that ruled over an entire nation. When Babylon fell, so fell the nation it ruled.

Revelation 17:18  And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.

The tool against Babylon: The ten kings that received power from the beast will have one mind, giving their power and strength to the beast, these shall hate babylon and make her desolate, nake, eat her flesh, burn her with fire!

Revelation 17:12  And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
13  These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

Revelation 17:15  And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
16  And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
17  For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.

The reward for her works, double for her double, 4 times!

Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double. verse 6

Her Works:

-Her Fornication verse 3
-Her sorceries deceived the nations v23
-In her was found blood of prophets, saints, and all those slain upon the earth v24
-The People lusted after all her dainty and goodly fruits verse 14
-Kings of earth have committed fornication with her verse 3
-Merchants of the earth have waxed rich through her abundance of her delicacies verse 3
-She has gloried herself-Pride, ego, verse 7
-She has lived deliciously verse 7
-She sins in her heart, saying, I sit a queen, am no widow, shall see no sorrow vers 7

Because of this: ‘Her plagues will come in one day’ verse 8, in one hour verse 10,

-death
-mourning
-famine
-utterly burned with fire
-Lord God judges here

The Lifestyle will be wiped out!
Electrical grid gone [light of candle shine no more] v23
Also figurative of being the ‘light of the nations’, she will be darkened permenately
She also will not be looked upon as that bright place to go live and get rich, the place for foreigners to come to, get married, and live!
Voice of bridegroom and bride heard no more [chao's, no marriage, death, famine, no fit place to live]
