1 Peter 4:1  ¶Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
2  That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
3  For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:
4  ¶Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:
5  Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.
6  For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
7  ¶But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

1 Peter 4:12  ¶Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
13  But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
14  If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

2 Peter 2:9  The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

=>”The bread of inquity” people who continue in sin and rebellion against the Lord and do not call upon God, this includes those who consider themselves God’s people but do iniquity and sin! As Israel did!

One of the scripture’s that best describes America today!

Romans 1:18  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

Romans 1:29  Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30  Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31  Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32  Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Romans 2:5  But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

Psalms 14:4  ¶Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD.
Psalms 53:4  Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God.
Ezekiel 4:17  That they may want bread and water, and be astonied one with another, and consume away for their iniquity.
Ezekiel 16:49  Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy

=>”The arm of the flesh” Trusting in man, nations, the flesh, and all that which you can see, hear, feel, touch, taste, and enjoy. Trusting in this more than God, who is the creator of all living things!

Jeremiah 17:5  ¶Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.

2 Chronicles 32:8  With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.

Psalms 118:8  It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

Psalms 146:3  Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

Revelation 3:7  ¶And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
8  I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

Above: scripture commends them for:
thou has Kept my Word
Hast not denied my name:

This is the commandment as well in Revelation:

Revelation 12:17  And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 14:12  Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Keep thee – Hour of Patience:

Some will be delivered, some will be martyred, but all will go through and keep this Hour of Patience!

Keep thee from the hour of temptation which shall come upon all the world, this is referred too in Matthew 24: as well!
Revelation 3:10  Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

Revelation 13:10  He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

Revelation 14:12  Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

The saints in Revelation 3 will be kept from the hour of temptation coming on all the earth, this is not the Rapture, as many call the Rapture. But the days will be shortened for the elect’s sake, and during the days to come, those who are ‘keeping the commandments of God’ and the ‘testimony of Jesus Christ’, these will be the Elect!

Listen close, judgment begins on the house of God, the the wrath of God falls upon the wicked and those who do not obey the Gospel!

Example of the Thessalonians!~

1 Thessalonians 1:3  Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;

2 Thessalonians 1:4  So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:

Through faith and patience, inherit the promises!~

Hebrews 6:12  That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Hebrews 10:36  For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

Hebrews 12:1  ¶Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

James 1:3  Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

James 1:4  But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

Then Great Tribulation:

Matthew 24:21  For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22  And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

Understand what the Spirit saith to the churches!

Revelation 3: 11  Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
12  Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
13  He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.Come my people and Hide thyself:

Judgment upon House of God!

But first, after the ‘beginning of Sorrows’, persecution will begin or the ‘judgment upon the house of God! It is here that many will be offended! why? False teachings, teachers, doctrine and the rest that led the people into lies and unbelief, trusting in the arm of the flesh, follow other Gods ect!

Read it in context, we are right now at verse 8, beginning of sorrows! Which in itself is bad, but the sorrows are more and more and worse and worse to come!

Matthew 24:7  For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8  All these are the beginning of sorrows.

After these ‘beginning of sorrows’, then the affliction, killing, persecution will begin!

9  Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.
10  And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11  And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12  And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13  But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14  And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
15  When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
16  Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
17  Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
18  Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
19  And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
20  But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

Then there shall be great tribulation, for those in the earth, but the days will be shortened for elect’s sake, who are those who keep the commandments of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ,

21  For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22  And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

=>The ‘judgment must begin at the house of God’

1 Peter 4:17  For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

=>Then the wrath of God falls!

2 Thessalonians 1:8  In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

God’s wrath is on his adversaries, his enemies: solution, don’t be his enemy!

Luke 21:33  Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
34  And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
35  For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36  Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
