“For the establishment of Righteousness and judgment! “The Whole Earth shall be filled with His Glory”

Mark 13:34  For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
35  Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
36  Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
37  And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

The Tsunami is waiting to be let loose!

Tsunami-A cataclysm [A sudden violent change in the earth's surface] resulting from a destructive sea wave caused by an earthquake or volcanic eruption

There was a time when a quake, note earthquake shook the earth. The time was when ‘Roman Soldiers along with those who conspired with them put our Lord to death’!

Matthew records this:

Matthew 27:51  And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
52  And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
53  And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
54  Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.

When this Physical cataclysm occurred, the earth shook, the veil of the temple was torn in two, the rocks moved, graves were opened, the dead saints were resurrected coming out of their graves and went into Jerusalem and appeared to many.

Those who saw this said “Truly this was the Son of God”

The Prophet Joel speaks of a quake in verses that describe the ‘Day of the LORD’. Here in verse ten it says, the “earth shall quake before them, heavens shall tremble, sun and moon shall be dark, and the stars withdraw their shining.”

This was judgment sent and the Prophet describes how the ‘fury of this Day that cometh from the LORD’ shall possess the earth and those who experience it!

Joel 2:10  The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:

The Prophet Nahum speaks of another quake, a time when the “LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.” Thus “the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet, He rebuketh the sea..”

Is there any doubt that this LORD can do this? That is, Literally moving, shaking, rebuking, and having his way in the ‘whirlwind, the storm, the seas, and in the earth?’

Nahum 1:5  The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.

Thus the Quake today in many regions form what is known as a ‘Tsunami’, when it occurs in the oceans, at the bottom thereof, and this causes the sea’s and oceans to swell to a giant tide of water, destroying all it comes against.

The Prophet Jeremiah used this same metaphor when speaking of the destruction of Babylon, saying, the ‘sea is come up upon Babylon, she is covered with the multitude of the waves thereof.’

That which was the praise of the whole earth is surprised, what happened was an astonishment!
Jeremiah 51:41  How is Sheshach taken! and how is the praise of the whole earth surprised! how is Babylon become an astonishment among the nations!

The Tsunami of Judgment upon Babylon

Hits and overwhelms her and astonishes the nations!:
42  The sea is come up upon Babylon: she is covered with the multitude of the waves thereof.
43  Her cities are a desolation, a dry land, and a wilderness, a land wherein no man dwelleth, neither doth any son of man pass thereby.

The Nations no more shall flow unto Babylon, Babylon shall fall & its idols!
44  And I will punish Bel in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he hath swallowed up: and the nations shall not flow together any more unto him: yea, the wall of Babylon shall fall.

The People of God, go ye out of the midst of her, don’t fear for the rumours you hear!
For a rumour shall come in one year, people shall fear, but, [nothing shall happen]
Then in an another year a rumour shall come again, but [they won’t fear nor know], then destruction!

45  My people, go ye out of the midst of her, and deliver ye every man his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD.

46  And lest your heart faint, and ye fear for the rumour that shall be heard in the land; a rumour shall both come one year, and after that in another year shall come a rumour, and violence in the land, ruler against ruler.
47  Therefore, behold, the days come, that I will do judgment upon the graven images of Babylon: and her whole land shall be confounded, and all her slain shall fall in the midst of her.

The above describes what happens when the LORD God sends judgment, described in a Tsunami! A metaphor to illustrate how destructive this is and the results. When the LORD God judges, there is no escape!

There is such a judgment upon this Land called America, it will occur sometime, at some moment! There will be rumours, false flags, and then suddenly a rumour shall come, when the people are tired of rumours and false flags, then right after that, destruction!

Luke says it this way, pertaining to our age and time, the prophetic time we live in! Mens hearts shall fail them for the fear of all those things they are seeing coming upon the earth. What causes all this? The earth will seem to be coming apart along with the heavens! The LORD God is shaking all things and letting man know, “HE IS LORD” !
Signs in sun
Signs in moon
Signs in stars
Upon earth distress of nations
With perplexity [Trouble or confusion resulting from complexity-The quality of being intricate and compounded]
Sea and waves roaring [tsunamis metaphor]
Powers of heaven shall be shaken

The fear of heart and soul for men will be the intricate, the many elements, the elaborate things that seem to be falling apart all at once, and compounded or stronger, more violent than before.

It won’t be that such things never happened on earth before, but it will be the fact that the LORD will bring them to a head, stronger, more violent, more of all the elements i.e. earth-sun-moon-stars-nations-troubles-wars- all at once occuring!

Luke 21:25  And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26  Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

What does that mean for you and for me?

God Knows how to deliver the godly out of trouble, while reserving the unjust to this day of judgment so that they could be punished!

2 Peter 2:9  The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

1 Corinthians 10:13  There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Psalms 34:15  The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
16  The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
17  The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
18  The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
19  Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

That being said, this does not prevent us from troubles, trials, and even suffering! We can be delivered from his wrath upon the unjust and the wicked, but even those in the church will face the ‘judgment of God’ first!

1 Peter 4:17  For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
18  And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
19  Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

But for us in the church, we are appointed to suffer according to the will of God, therefore, let us commit the keeping of our souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator!

I. The Situation, Trial, purpose and the prize!

Are you one of the Strangers?

Elect, according to the foreknowledge of God the Father
Sanctified through the Spirit
Following in Obedience
Having the Blood of Jesus Christ cover your sins and past life

1 Peter 1:1
¶Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,

1 Peter 1:2
Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

If you are, then you have a lively Hope!

Jesus Christ resurrected from the dead
This is our inheritance
It is incorruptible
It is undefiled
It does not fade away
It is reserved for you in heaven

1 Peter 1:3
¶Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

1 Peter 1:4
To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

You are kept by the power of God!

By faith unto salvation, looking and believing in that salvation
It will be revealed in the last time

1 Peter 1:5
Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

You are in heaviness through many troubles and temptations!

Ye greatly rejoice

Although for a season your in heaviness because of these trials
Trial of your faith
More precious than Gold which will perish
Your faith will not perish but if you continue in him, will be found to praise and honour when our Lord Jesus Christ appears!
For we have not seen him, yet we love him,
We don’t see him, yet we believe and rejoice with joy [in the midst of your trials, you must be able to rejoice in him, let his joy fill you, let his Spirit bring you heavenly glory into your soul, this is important, don’t fight this in the flesh, God through his Spirit will enable you]

1 Peter 1:6
¶Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:

1 Peter 1:7
That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
1 Peter 1:8
Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

1 Peter 1:9
Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

II. Gird up and Prepare!

Gird up, [put on your preparation for what is coming], ‘gird up the loins of your mind’, comes from the thought of Orientals necessarily gathering up their long robes with a belt to prepare for action!

Be sober:

Hope to the end for the grace that will brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ
Be obedient children, do not fashion yourselves according to your former lusts in your ignorance
Be holy, for he who called you is holy [holy used four times in two verses here]
Be holy in all manner of conversation
God the Father is no respector of persons here and will judge according to every mans work
Pass the time here with fear [of the LORD and be Holy]
You were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver or gold, as men in the world may redeem

1 Peter 1:13
¶Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

1 Peter 1:14
As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:

1 Peter 1:15
But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

1 Peter 1:16
Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

1 Peter 1:17
And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

1 Peter 1:18
Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

Redemption:

Redeemed with blood of Christ, a lamb, no blemish no spot
Ordained before the foundation of the world
Manifested in these last times for you
By Christ Jesus do you believe in God
God raised him from the dead
God gave him glory
To the extent that your faith and hope might be in God

1 Peter 1:19
But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

1 Peter 1:20
Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

1 Peter 1:21
Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

Obeying the Truth!

Purifying your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit
Unfeigned love of the brethren
Love one another with a pure heart fervently
You have been born again by the incorruptible seed
The word of God, that lives and abides forever is that seed
Man however will pass away, with all his glory, all nature, will pass
But the Word of the LORD will endure forever
This is that Word which by the gospel is preached to you!

1 Peter 1:22
Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

1 Peter 1:23
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

1 Peter 1:24
¶For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:

1 Peter 1:25
But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.
