INTRO:
When speaking about ‘opening the door of faith’ to tomorrow, we must, before we can do that, understand one facet of who we are and what is our true purpose, calling, and our reward, if we faint not! We must also understand, this is not our plan, it is Gods, it is not in our power, it is his, and we won’t be alone, he will be with us!
The Foreknowledge of God the Father!
1 Peter 1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
3 ¶Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
Kept by power of God through faith to salvation!
1 Peter 1:5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
I will be with you to the end of the world!
Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Power of God in us but not of us!
2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
Tomorrow will be filled with troubles in the world.
Tomorrow will be filled with tribulations in the world.
Tomorrow will be filled with deception and deceivers.
Tomorrow will be filled with plagues, pestilence, and wars.
Tomorrow will be filled with shaking of all kinds.
Tomorrow will cause the ‘hearts of many’ to fail them for fear.
Tomorrow simply put, is bringing in the ‘snare’, ‘jacobs trouble’, ‘the tribulation’, and finally
The Coming of Jesus Christ, Yeshua Ha Massiach to this earth to establish Righteousness and the kingdom of God!
For many, however, God, even our Father is described as vengeful, hateful, doesn’t exist, not the only god, not a god of love, and much more!
For many who go through what we are in today, God may seem like one who is pursuing you with trouble!
For many who see tomorrow and its promises as destruction and turmoil, God may seem like one who is going to destroy you!
Many will not understand what is going on!
Many Christians may find themselves in the midst of the ‘smelter of the Lord’.
Many Christians may lose hope and faith!

His Good Pleasure:
Eph 1:5 “to the good pleasure”
eudokia (2107), lit., “good pleasure” (eu, “well,” dokeo, “to seem”), implies a gracious purpose, a good object being in view, with the idea of a resolve, showing the willingness with which the resolve is made. It is often translated “good pleasure,”
——————————-
Lk 2:14
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men
Lk 10:21
In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight
Phil 2:13
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
2 Thess 1:11
Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power
——————————-
But let me tell you today, “it is the Fathers Good pleasure” to have revealed to you the ‘mystery of His will!
That ‘mystery is to let you fulfill your destiny in Christ, for the Father has ‘predestinated’ all of us who believe, as his ‘sons and daughters’, to wit, the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself.
It is His Good Pleasure to do this! You can’t earn it! You can buy it! You can coax God on this matter! You cannot fool God regarding this matter! Your either going to be ‘adopted’ as his ‘sons and daughters’ through Jesus Christ or your not.
The Choice is yours!
You can pass into tomorrow by faith, believing it is the Fathers Good Pleasure to see you in victory in your life the is before you!
It won’t be easy
It won’t be without faith
It will be according to the purpose of God in Christ Jesus for you

Predestinated us:
‘Having Predestinated’ us: predestinate, proorizo-4309; ‘beforehand, to mark out, to determine before’
1. Being Adopted by Jesus Christ unto God the Father
Ephesians 1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
Ephesians 1:9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
God knew beforehand his plan to reveal the ‘hidden wisdom’ to all men, that through Jesus Christ and his work on the cross, he would unite all men in Him.
Peter and John were sternly warned not to speak in the name of Jesus Christ, nor testify. Thus when they were let go they thus prayed: ‘included is the phrase ‘thy counsel determined before to do’!

Acts 4:25
Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things?
Acts 4:26
The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.
Acts 4:27
For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,
Acts 4:28
For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.
Acts 4:29
And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,
Acts 4:30
By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.
Acts 4:31
And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

Called, justified, glorified:
2. The Hidden Wisdom Revealed: predestined to be called, justified, and glorified!
The Apostle Paul speaks of the ‘hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our Glory!
1 Corinthians 2:6
¶Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect [mature]: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
1 Corinthians 2:7
But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
This is not the wisdom of the world, Paul previously mentioned!
Men can be wise in ‘worldy wisdom and knowledge’, yet are far from God. For by the worlds wisdom, nor of mans wisdom and knowledge can not be known God be known!
1 Corinthians 1:20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
God chose, before the foundation of the world, that this ‘hidden wisdom’ would not go to the wise or knowledgeable of the world. But it would go to those whom God had ‘predestined’ to be Sons and daughters of God, through the adoption of God by Christ Jesus!
The Apostle Paul speaks of ‘foreknowledge and predestination’. Both of which speak to those who would be ‘conformed to the image of his Son, Jesus Christ’, by the adoption, to wit, the blood of the covenant, that those who believed on him would be the ‘firstborn among many brethren.
—————————————–
Romans 8:29
¶For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate [ordained] to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Romans 8:30
Moreover whom he did predestinate [ordained], them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
Romans 8:31
¶What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
Romans 8:32
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
Romans 8:33
Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth.
Romans 8:34
Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
Romans 8:35
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Romans 8:36
As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Romans 8:37
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
—————————————
It is here we see that this Predestination,
involves what God is doing in us, to bring us to the conformity of the image of his Son. We are called, justified, and will be glorifed, if we faint not!
Called: cry out, command, attract your attention, by the gospel
-called one hope of your calling-walking in the vocation of Christ Jesus-
Ephesians 4:1 ¶I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
2 ¶With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
-the called of Jesus Christ-
Romans 1:4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:
5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:
6 Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:
7 To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
-called you by the gospel-
2 Thessalonians 2:13 ¶But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
16 ¶Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
17 Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.
-called to glory [honor, beauty, title, in Christ, reward for faith, honored in Christ] and virtue [pure, chaste, holiness, in Christ]-
2 Peter 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
Justified: ‘imputed righteousness through faith, by the blood of Christ shed for us’
all that believe are justified from all things from which ye could not be justified by the law
Acts 13:38 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:
39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
Romans 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
-imputed to us, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus-
Speaking of Abraham:
Romans 4:21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
23 ¶Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;
24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;
25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
Romans 5:1 ¶Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
Romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Glorifed:
-Jesus Gloried in his disciples-
John 17:9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
-Gentiles glorifed word of the Lord, for eternal life-
Acts 13:47 For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.
49 And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region.
-Jesus Christ glorified in us, we in him- 1. Worthy of this calling 2.fulfill good pleasure of his goodness, 3.work of faith with power
2 Thessalonians 1:10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
2 Thessalonians 1:11 ¶Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
12 That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
These last two sentences came before 2 Thess 2, there were rumors that the day of Christ was at hand, they were not to be shaken by this, for we must continue to do as our calling directs us through the Spirit, in the name of Christ by the faith and power of God in us!
2 Thessalonians 2:1 ¶Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 ¶Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Inheritance:
3. Destined to obtaining an inheritance, if we faint not
It was the ‘mystery of his will’, and the Father’s good pleasure, that he purposed in himself!
-dispensation of the fulness o f times it would come
-gather in one all things in Christ, both in heaven and on earth, even in him
-thus we have obtained an inheritance, to wit, we were predestined for, according to the counsel of his will
-that those who trust in Christ, after hearing the word of truth the gospel of your salvation, having believed, being sealed with the Holy Ghost until the coming of Christ
musterion ( 3466), primarily that which is known to the mustes, “the initiated” (from mueo, “to initiate into the mysteries”; cf. Phil. 4:12, mueomai, “I have learned the secret,” rv). In the NT it denotes, not the mysterious (as with the Eng. word), but that which, being outside the range of unassisted natural apprehension, can be made known only by divine revelation, and is made known in a manner and at a time appointed by God, and to those only who are illumined by His Spirit.
In the ordinary sense a “mystery” implies knowledge withheld;
its Scriptural significance is truth revealed.
Hence the terms especially associated with the subject are “made known,” “manifested,” “revealed,” “preached,” “understand,” “dispensation.”
The definition given above may be best illustrated by the following passage: “the mystery which hath been hid from all ages and generations: but now hath it been manifested to His saints” (Col. 1:26, rv).
“It is used of:
“(a) spiritual truth generally, as revealed in the gospel, 1 Cor. 13:2; 14:2 [cf. 1 Tim. 3:9].
Among the ancient Greeks ‘the mysteries’ were religious rites and ceremonies practiced by secret societies into which any one who so desired might be received.
Those who were initiated into these ‘mysteries’ became possessors of certain knowledge, which was not imparted to the uninitiated, and were called ‘the perfected,’ cf. 1 Cor. 2:6-16 where the Apostle has these ‘mysteries’ in mind and presents the gospel in contrast thereto; here ‘the perfected’ are, of course the believers, who alone can perceive the things revealed;
(b) Christ, who is God Himself revealed under the conditions of human life, Col. 2:2; 4:3, and submitting even to death, 1 Cor. 2:1 [in some mss., for marturion, testimony], 7, but raised from among the dead, 1 Tim. 3:16, that the will of God to coordinate the universe in Him, and subject it to Him, might in due time be accomplished, Eph. 1:9 (cf. Rev. 10:7), as is declared in the gospel Rom. 16:25; Eph. 6:19; (c) the Church, which is Christ’s Body, i.e., the union of redeemed men with God in Christ, Eph. 5:32 [cf. Col. 1:27]; (d) the rapture into the presence of Christ of those members of the Church which is His Body who shall be alive on the earth at His Parousia, 1 Cor. 15:51; (e) the operation of those hidden forces that either retard or accelerate the Kingdom of Heaven (i.e., of God), Matt. 13:11; Mark 4:11; (f) the cause of the present condition of Israel, Rom. 11:25; (g) the spirit of disobedience to God, 2 Thess. 2:7; Rev. 17:5, 7, cf. Eph. 2:2.”*
To these may be added (h) the seven local churches, and their angels, seen in symbolism, Rev. 1:20; (i) the ways of God in grace, Eph. 3:9. The word is used in a comprehensive way in 1 Cor. 4:1.†

Ephesians 1:9
Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
Ephesians 1:10
That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
Ephesians 1:11
In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
Ephesians 1:12
That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
Ephesians 1:13
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Ephesians 1:14
Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

The Heavenly requirement: Faith
on earth, in those who believe, the Son’s of the Most high, through Christ Jesus!
Men, ought always to pray, and not to faint
Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
———————————————
Luke 18:1 ¶And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:
3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.
4 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.
6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.
7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
The Heavenly mercy given,
the ministration of the Spirit in us!
Therefore, leads this chapter and first verse! It refers to the previous chapter teachings, and because of all that, i.e. therefore, we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
It speaks of the ministration of the Spirit, the glory of the Lord, and being ‘epistles read of all men’. All by the Spirit of God and of Glory!
2 Corinthians 4:1 ¶Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.
3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.
6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
8 ¶We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
The Heavenly vision as we work!
Persisting, working, do not faint, although our outward man perishes, yet we look to the things not seen, we do not look at the things seen. For the things seen are temporal and the things which are not seen are eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:14 Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal
The Heavenly persistence:
do not be weary in well doing, in due season you will reap if you faint not!
Galatians 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
The Heavenly Father who chastens
his children, do not faint when you are rebuked of him!
Hebrews 12:5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
12 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Live by faith, Word of God with Faith, work to the end!
Final Words:
Do not draw back, for this leads to destruction!
Hebrews 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
It is given you in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake!
Philippians 1:29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;
The Battle will not end until Christ Comes, we are to work unto the end!
2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
The Word of God mixed With Faith!
The WARNING: Take heed, ‘lest there be in you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God. , let us fear therefore, lest a promise given to us of entering that rest does not come to us, because we no longer believe!
Hebrews 3:12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
Hebrews 4:1 ¶Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
