Psalms 23:4  Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5  Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

My Servant David: The coming Messiach Yeshua!
Ezekiel 34:23  And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my
servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd

The Good Shepherd gave his life for the sheep!

John 10:11  I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

John 10:12  But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
The Good Shepherd knows his sheep and is known by them!
John 10:14  I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

You were lost, but now are found!

1 Peter 2:25  For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

The Chief Shepherd will appear, giving out ‘crowns of glory’ to his own!

1 Peter 5:4  And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

The Lords Table or the Table of Devils!

In the Torah it was a place of ministry unto the Lord by the Priests who were to keep the ‘shewbread’ before the Lord continually. We find our Lord as the ‘bread of life’ and has fulfilled the type of the ‘shewbread’. He is the true life, true bread of heaven, and we live in him, through him, and by Him. Today we are ‘kings and priests’ unto our God, worshipping in ‘Spirit and in Truth’. Today, under the new covenant, it is an altar, prayer, seeking the Lord, brought nigh through Christ Jesus.

Bringing forth to God polluted offerings!

Malachi 1:7  Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the LORD is contemptible.

Malachi 1:12  But ye have profaned it, in that ye say, The table of the LORD is polluted; and the fruit thereof, even his meat, is contemptible
Psalms 16:5  The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.

Psalms 75:8  For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.
9  But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
10  All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted

1 Corinthians 10:21  Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils

1 Corinthians 11:27  Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

Knowing who the enemy is

Psalms 23:5
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over

Revelation 3:20  Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
21  To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Choose you this day whom you will serve! You cannot eat from the Lord’s table and that of the devil. You cannot drink the Lord’s cup of communion and drink from the devil’s own cup! Let us not follow evil, lust, nor give ourselves to idols, but remember those who afore were destroyed for their rejection of our God, these are written for our examples. But remember, the Lord is faithful and will provide a way to escape your temptation so you can bear it!

1 Corinthians 10:4
And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.

The Lords Table: Knowing Him.

‘In the presence of mine enemies’ or ‘adversaries’, it is given not only to believe on Christ but to suffer for his sake!

Philippians 1:28
 And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.
29  For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;

To know Him according to the Apostle Paul cannot be separated from the power of His resurrection, nor from the fellowship of his sufferings, even being made conformable unto his death. Pressing towards this mark as the ‘prize of the High calling of God in Christ Jesus

Philippians 3:9
¶And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

Philippians 3:10
That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

Philippians 3:11
If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

Philippians 3:12
Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

Philippians 3:13
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

Philippians 3:14
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

The Lord’s Table provides, strengthens, enables, and is provided by the covenant, he will take care of his own!

Philippians 4:11  Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
12  I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
13  I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me

The Lord’s Table, provides the righteous judgment of god, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you suffer!

2 Thessalonians 1:4  So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:
5  ¶Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:

2 Timothy 3:11  Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.
12  Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
13  But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

Hebrews 13:3  Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.

The Lords Table: Overcoming, the Revelation of the ‘Sons of God’

.Acts 14:22  Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

Romans 8:16  The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17  ¶And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
18  For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
19  For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

1 Peter 5:6  Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
7  Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
8  ¶Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9  Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
10  ¶But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

Thus the Battle has begun, the War mentioned in Revelation will heat up as we come to that time of shaking, tribulation, and trouble that falls as a snare upon the whole earth. We thus overcome by: blood Lamb, word of our testimony, love not our lives unto death!

Revelation 12:11  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Revelation 12:17  And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Patience, is mentioned twice, Rev 13:10 and 14:12, both in context of the coming ‘war’ the dragon makes on the remnant of the seed of the woman [Israel] who gave birth [Messiah], and of whom we are seed, through faith, of Abraham, the Israel of God, Commonwealth of Israel.

Revelation 13:10  He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

Revelation 14:12  Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
