Israel is now in bondage and Affliction in Egypt. This week we find Moses as God and Aaron his Prophet to the Pharaoh. We see the ultimate battle between light and dark; good and evil, God miracles and demonic miracles. Listen in as we walk through the battle with Moses and Aaron. There is much for us today to learn and to understand from these miracles and from this battle. We are in our own battle of Light versus Darkness. The God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, and Aaron has not changed. Today this Father of ours has set the course and bounds for the end of days. We are there now; let us move forward with the same victory, faith, and leading that we find here in Moses and Aaron.

Exo 7:8 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
Exo 7:9 When Pharaoh shall speak unto you, saying, Shew a miracle for you: then thou shalt say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shall become a serpent.
Exo 7:10 And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent.

Moses, Israel, and Pharaoh: Major sections in this teaching

1. Ex 5:1 Pharaoh puts harsher tasks on Israel
2. Ex 7:10-14 Moses “with a strong hand” the beginning of the hand of the LORD against Egypt and Pharaoh Miracle One, Rod turns into a Serpent and the Magicians did likewise, Aaron’s rod eats the other Serpents
3. Ex 7:20-25 Moses and Aaron smite waters, they turn to blood all living creatures in water die; Magicians of Egypt did likewise; Pharaoh hardened
4. Ex 8:1-15 Moses and Aaron smite Egypt so that frogs come up, Magicians of Egypt did likewise, Pharaoh pleas with Moses to stop it which he does, Pharaoh after respite hardens his heart
5. Ex 8:16-19 Moses and Aaron stretched out rod and dust of land becomes lice; Magicians could not do so and said it is the finger of God, Pharaoh hardens his heart
6. Ex 8:20-32 Moses warns Pharaoh of swarms of flies upon Egypt but none in Goshen, for God will put a division between my people and thy people. Flies come, Pharaoh entreats Moses to let them go, the Flies stop and Pharaoh recants his promises his heart hardened.
7. Ex 9:1-97 Moses warns Pharaoh of grievous murrain [infectious disease on animals example anthrax] to strike cattle, horses, asses, camels, oxen, sheep in Egypt but not in Goshen, at appointed time next day it happened, all cattle of Egypt died and none of Israel’s died; Pharaoh sent to see if this was so, it was; but his heart hardened.
8. Ex 9:8-12 Moses and Aaron sprinkles handfuls of ashes from furnace in sight of Pharaoh and the dust of it becomes boils with ‘blains [inflammatory swelling, blister] upon man and beast’ Magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils. Lord hardens Pharaoh’s heart.
9. Ex 9:13-33 Moses and Aaron before Pharaoh, all my plagues upon Egypt, with a warning to put animals and humans inside, those who feared the LORD among Egyptians did so, those who did not regard it did not heed advice. Moses stretched forth hand to heave, hail with thunder and fire along ground in Egypt but none in Goshen.
10. Ex 9:34-35 Moreover, Pharaoh called for Moses entreated him to stop it and said he sinned, the plague quit, the flax and barley was smitten, the wheat and rye were not. when all ceased Pharaoh hardens his heart and would not let Israel go.

There is much to be learned from this story including how governments and people react to the issues of hardships, famine, economic disaster, and an early form of Martial law. It is here where Joseph uses skills that the Lord gave him so he could save the people from extinction and along with them a small band of people from Canaan known as Israel.
